Content description

Many years ago, these 5 high schools were the only high schools in BIRMINGHAM that black students could attend. They were excluded from many recognitions that the all-white high schools received. By the 1970s, schools were integrated but these 5 will forever be recognized as the ORIGINAL ALL-BLACK HIGH SCHOOLS OF BIRMINGHAM.
